Information text about the nutria:
The coypu ( Myocastor coypus ) is a large rodent native to South America, commonly found in wetlands such as rivers, lakes, and swamps. Due to its introduction for the fur industry, it has spread to many parts of the world. With its long, rounded tail and striking orange incisors, it is easily recognizable. Coypus are excellent swimmers and feed primarily on aquatic plants. Despite their beneficial role in the ecosystem as plant pests, they can cause damage in some areas, which is why they are considered an invasive species.
